3-hour Budapest Sightseeing Tour

The tour takes you along Andrássy Avenue, passing the Opera House, the House of Terror, and the Embassy District. It also features a stop at Heroes' Square, the historical "showroom" of Hungary.

Ride through the Jewish Quarter with its special contrasting atmosphere as you see Europe’s largest synagogue, the "ruin bars" and impressive street art decorating the firewalls. Enjoy a 30-minute stop at the vibrant Great Market Hall when it's open. Then, after crossing the Danube to the Buda side, we'll drive you up Gellért Hill for breathtaking panoramic views.

Your next highlight will be the Buda Castle District. We'll take you on a time journey through the old cobblestone streets and medieval houses before a 20-minute stop at Matthias Church. The arcades of the Fisherman's Bastion offer plenty of photo opportunities overlooking the Parliament and the Danube bridges.

You'll ride along the Danube and return to the Pest side. During the final leg of the tour, you'll pass the "Shoes on the Danube Bank" memorial near the Chain Bridge.

Throughout the tour, your friendly driver will share interesting stories about life in Hungary and will be happy to answer your questions. An audio guide is available in several languages, or you can simply enjoy music through the JBL hi-fi system.

Know before you book

• The tour runs in both rain and shine, so please dress appropriately. The jeep has transparent rain cover and seat heating makes it suitable for all weather.

• As the jeep is a 50+yrs military vehicle, no seatbelts are built in. The driver will drive safe and slowly.
